Don't try to be a hero. If you have a type-A personality and want to do everything on your own, dial it back a bit, at least while you are pregnant. You have to relax! Your body may not allow you to do all you did before. You won't be able to take care of everything by yourself.

When you are pregnant, your bladder capacity is diminished. To sleep better, plan your water intake accordingly. Make sure to drink plenty of water throughout the day, however not so much at night. Doing this reduces the chances of getting up in the night to go to the bathroom.

Once you reach the third trimester, you should prepare a bag for the hospital visit. If you wait a long time to do this then you'll find yourself arriving at the hospital without your supplies. Have everything you need ready including your birth plan, your camera, batteries and your insurance information.
